Privacy Policy

Shizuki Electric Co., Inc. (hereinafter “SHIZUKI” or “we”) receives personal information from customers, suppliers, and many other stakeholders through its business activities.
Under the recognition that personal information is an important asset of individuals and that it is its social responsibility to protect such personal information properly and in conformity with the law, SHIZUKI hereby establishes its Privacy Policy as stated below and will continue to strive to properly handle personal data.

Purpose of Privacy Policy
The purpose of this Policy is, in making proper and effective use of personal information, to protect the rights and interests of individuals, including the protection of privacy, while considering the utility of personal information.
Acquisition of Personal Information
SHIZUKI will acquire personal information through lawful and fair means, within the scope necessary, after notifying necessary information, including the purpose of use, the scope of joint use, and the contact point for inquiries.
Purpose of Use of Personal Information
SHIZUKI will use personal information only within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purposes of use that it has publicly stated in an explicit manner beforehand and take necessary measures to prevent use other than for the intended purposes.
Handling of Personal Data
1. Compliance with laws and regulations concerning personal information protection and continuous improvement
In handling personal data, SHIZUKI will comply with the law concerning the protection of personal information and related governmental and ministerial ordinances, guidelines, etc. In addition, SHIZUKI will strive to continuously improve and enhance its handling of personal data in line with changes in the environment.
2. Security control measures for personal data and correction
SHIZUKI will implement necessary and appropriate security control measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, falsification, leakage, loss and damage. It will also take corrective action against these security incidents as necessary.
Disclosure and Provision of Personal Data
SHIZUKI may entrust the handling of personal data to a third party in whole or in part. It will not provide personal data to any third party without obtaining the consent of the individual to whom such personal data relates (hereinafter the “Principal”) except as otherwise provided for by laws and regulations. In this case, SHIZUKI will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted party to ensure the security control of the entrusted personal data.
Handling of Personally Referable Information
When handling personally referable information, such as IP addresses and cookie information, on its website, etc., SHIZUKI may notify the Principal of the purpose of use, thereby obtaining the consent thereof.
Response to Inquiries
SHIZUKI will respond appropriately to any requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, discontinuance of use, etc. of any of the retained personal data and any other inquiries concerning personal information from the Principal.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The purposes of use of personal information retained by SHIZUKI are as follows.

Security Control Measures

SHIZUKI implements security control measures by the methods below in order to protect personal data that it handles.

1.Organizational security control measures
SHIZUKI appoints the General Personal Information Protection Supervisor for the Shizuki Electric Group, establishes the Secretariat, has a Personal Information Protection Supervisor and a Personal Information Administrator appointed at each company in the Group, and ensures the management and supervision of personal information users.
2.Human security control measures
Under the direction of the Secretariat, the department responsible for education provides employees with awareness-building programs and other necessary education, etc.
3.Physical security control measures
SHIZUKI implements preventive measures against theft and other similar incidents involving electronic devices, electronic media, etc. that handle personal data. When deleting personal data, it follows appropriate steps.
4.Technological security control measures
SHIZUKI restricts access to personal data by way of access control, installs firewalls and monitors access traffic to prevent unauthorized external access, introduces anti-virus software, and keeps it updated with the latest definitions of viruses.

Personally Referable Information

1.Cookie information
This website uses cookies and web beacons with the aim of providing services more suitable for customers. We will keep track of customer access to the website and use this information only when it is necessary for providing services that meet customer needs, and we will not use it for any other purpose. In addition, the access information collected by cookies and web beacons does not identify an individual. 2.IP information
Our website may use IP addresses of computers and smartphones used by customers. Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties

SHIZUKI will not provide personal data to any third party except in the following cases. Further, it will not provide personal data using the opt-out method. However, SHIZUKI may engage in third-party provision of personal data to its group companies as necessary, and the items of the personal data subject to the third-party provision, the means and manners thereof, request-making for discontinuance of the provision, and other relevant matters are provided under the Item “Joint Use of Personal Data”.

  6.  6.Cases in which the handling of personal data is entrusted in whole or in part within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use

SHIZUKI may jointly use personal data with Shizuki Electric Group companies within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of use.

  entry sheet, company briefing session, and similar occasions.
Scope of joint users
Shizuki Electric Co., Inc. and Shizuki Electric Group companies.
